The Humane Center for Animal Welfare (HCAW) announced its first Annual Spring Benefit, which will be held on the 21st of April, 2010 at the Australian Embassy in Amman.
The event aims at supporting HCAW's efforts to promote animal welfare awareness in Jordan. In doing so, HCAW is attempting to reinforce the ethical treatment of all animals in our country.
The Benefit will feature a Live Jazz Quartet in addition to a variety of entertaining activities. It will also include a silent auction, where guests can bid on a variety of valuable prizes, including two round trip tickets from Amman to London, presented by Royal Jordanian, monthly memberships at Fitness First, a wide array of hotel and spa packages, and much more.
A part of the proceeds will go toward supporting a local children’s charity, for which the Center is also conducting a clothing, toy and book drive.
Founded in 2000 as a Non for Profit Organization, HCAW has garnered a strong following by many individuals, as well as local and global organizations, who have observed the importance of its activities and its contribution to the integrity of the community as a whole.
