Hamas' political chief Khalid Mishaal has affirmed that foreign quarters backed by local Palestinian parties were striving hard to oust the elected PA government that swept the PA legislative elections last January.
He also affirmed that external intervention and pressures in Palestinian internal affairs have contributed to the suspension of the unity cabinet talks, indicating that there was a trend within Fatah that aims to strip Hamas of every thing and kick it out of power as that trend still believes that the PA is a "dairy cow".
Mishaal remarks came in an interview with the Al-Jazeera Tuesday, where he affirmed that the door of dialogue was and still is open for Palestinian factions to form a national unity government based on the signed national harmony document.
"Hamas has displayed a lot of flexibility in this regard; but it doesn’t accept to sell the Palestinian will or mortgage the Palestinian national harmony to outsiders", Mishaal affirmed.
