Hadj Lahcen Watrich, the long time youth scouter of WAC has died from a heart attack. Le Matin reported that he worked as a recruiter for WAC for decades and was responsible for discovering great talents such as Abdeslam, Chtouki, Driss. He also discovered Abderrahmane Belmahjoub, who was nicknamed at that time the Park's Prince.
Watrich also helped Bidaoui Club which supported and assisted players, who were victims of injustice or violence. He died at the age of 78.
