Gulfy, the recently introduced Gulf Air icon, is making surprise visits to the airline’s award-winning lounge at the Bahrain International Airport to greet and entertain youngsters.
Gulfy, a life-size cartoon character unveiled in March has been a hit with young children.
"Summer is a peak travel period and we want to make it a fun journey for families, especially our young customers who are going on holiday,” says Gulf Air Vice President Marketing and Sales Lee Shave.
"The Gulf Air experience begins on the ground in our dedicated First and Business class lounges and Gulfy will provide that fun ingredient to make the youngsters’ trip out of Bahrain a truly memorable experience."
Created as an enhancement to Gulf Air's award-winning Sky Nanny service, Gulfy will make surprise visits to the Gulf Air lounge which has a colourful family section designed specifically for the convenience of those travelling with children. The separate seating area features a playroom with Microsoft X-box systems and latest games.
Families will have photo opportunities with Gulfy amidst an atmosphere of fun and frolic.
