Gulf Bank Employees Attend Graduation Ceremony

The Institute of Banking Studies (IBS) held a graduation ceremony at  the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry during March 2009,  where Gulf Bank graduates from several training programs attended to accept their graduation certificates.

A total of 70 graduates from Gulf Bank successfully completed the following programs:   Certified Bank Branch Manager (CBBM), Certified Assistant Bank Branch Manager (CABBM) and the Certified Credit Management (CCM) program.

The internationally recognized certificates were awarded by the IBS, which is accredited by one of the oldest, and most highly recognized financial services training institution bodies in the world, the IFS School of Finance in the UK.

Along with leaders from their teams, Surour Alsamerai, General Manager, Human Resources, David Power, Deputy General Manager, Retail Banking, and Ahmad Al-Kazemi, Deputy General Manager, Corporate Banking, attended the ceremony to show support for the graduates.

“It is always good to see members of the Gulf Bank team receive graduation certificates. This reemphasizes Gulf Bank’s commitment to the development, training and nurturing of our employees for a better and more prosperous Kuwait. We will continue to invest in our people and I look forward to sharing in their future successes” said Surour Alsamerai, Generel Manager Human Resources.

Gulf Bank recently won the GCC Localization Award from the GCC Council of Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs for the fourth consecutive year, for their


contribution and efforts in the employment, development and training of Kuwaiti nationals.
