Gulf Air has been named the official carrier of the World Air Cargo Event, which will take place for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain, next year.
“I am delighted for Bahrain to have the opportunity to host this prestigious industry event that draws all the key players in the air cargo supply chain,” says Gulf Air Head of Cargo Des Vertannes.
“I am sure that they will find Bahrain’s hospitality not just extremely warm and welcoming, but also consider this gateway as a possible area for investment given its strategic values.”
The announcement of Gulf Air’s sponsorship was made today (27.2) at the World Air Cargo Event 2007 in Dubai which is hosting the event for the second year.
“For Gulf Air this is a wonderful opportunity to be able to sponsor an event of such magnitude,” adds Mr Vertannes.
The World Air Cargo Event covers strong themes affecting the air cargo community today. The conference is growing year on year due to its significance in relation to the enormous growth the industry in the region is experiencing over the past few years.
