The 40th edition of the National Festival for Popular Arts, which is scheduled to take place from July 2 to 9 in Marrakech, will see the return of the Guisse Brothers.

EMarrakech reports that following the three brothers’ impressive performance in last year's edition of the festival and following the warm reactions from the public, the National Festival for Popular Arts Association (A.F.N.A.P) has decided to re-invite the three-brother group (Djiby, Cheikh and Alioune) to perform also in this year’s edition of the festival. The Guissé Brothers are Senegal's premier acoustic folk artists. Their music has its roots in several different Senegalese and West African cultures.
