Green Packet Networks (GPN), a leading broadband wireless technology provider and Next Generation mobile solutions developer, has today (Sunday, September 09, 2007) partnered with five high profile clients during a press conference held at the Gulfcomms 2007 exhibition in Dubai.  The move is a boost for GPN’s Partner Program, which aims to promote an early adoption of GPN’s range of Self Organising Network (SON) wireless products throughout the Middle East and will facilitate additional product launches in the near future.

Two Saudi-based companies joined the Program, including NESMA Advanced Technology (NESMA), a leading Systems Integrator (SI) and provider of IT solutions and connectivity; and Semanoor, a well known provider of e-learning software development. One Kuwaiti company, Computer Data Networks (CDN), a professional service provider in IT and communications; as well as Etisalcom, one of Bahrain’s principal communications providers of next generation voice, video and data services; also joined the Program after exchanging documents during the conference.  The fifth new partner is Trapeze Networks, a leading global provider of wireless LAN equipment and management software for medium to large businesses and the award-winning global provider of Smart Mobile wireless solutions.

“We are delighted with our new partners, as they are all very professional companies that will help us achieve our goal of marketing our SON products and VOIP solutions in key markets across the region.  It is our strategy to significantly strengthen our global presence, and partnerships such as these will help us penetrate tough markets and receive local support,” said Dr. Ali Al Mashat, Chairman of GPN.

GPN’s Beyond Bahrain Program was also launched at the conference, which aims to promote the company’s wireless broadband solutions and the new IP wireless surveillance system, known as PacketEyes, outside of Bahrain and target the greater MENA market. The move comes as the Bahrain-based company promotes increased adoption of its scalable SON products, designed for Telco’s, enterprises and mobile work groups, to address the growing demand for flexible communications infrastructure in the region.

It is the first time that GPN will be participating at Gulfcomms, and will be showcasing its new PacketEyes Home Surveillance solution and the SONbuddy Connect! Platform, in addition to its full range of Self Organising Network (SON) products at Stand Z-11 Zabeel Hall. All of GPN’s products are based on cost effective, fast and reliable technology independent of the backbone infrastructure.

“We are looking at introducing our advanced technology to other countries in the region in the near future, which is why we have launched our Partner Program.  We are hopeful that by the end of the year, we can collaborate with more than 20 partners in the MENA region who can distribute our products and in return can benefit from offering their customers fast, reliable and affordable technology,” Al Mashat added.
