Grand Hyatt Doha debuts at Middle East’s leading travel and tourism show
Newly Launched Hotel Showcased at Arabian Travel Market 2009
Representatives from Grand Hyatt Doha were present today at the launch of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, showcasing the newly-launched luxury hotel in Qatar’s capital.
The hotel, which opened in March, is the latest addition to Hyatt’s growing Middle Eastern portfolio and features 249 guestrooms, alongside a residential complex available for short-term rentals and located adjacent to the main hotel.
“Doha is now a key destination hub for both business and leisure, and Grand Hyatt Doha offers an ideal retreat for travellers,” said Frank Beiler, Executive Assistant Manager – Marketing, Grand Hyatt Doha. “ATM is the Middle East’s leading travel show and we are excited to be showcasing our hotel for the first time at this highly respected exhibition,” continued Mr. Beiler.
Located at Stand ME2800, as part of the Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority stand, Grand Hyatt Doha executives are profiling the hotel’s luxurious accommodation and exciting entertainment and dining options. The hotel is conveniently located in the city’s new West Bay Lagoon district, just minutes from the city’s financial and commercial centers, places of cultural and historical interest, and Doha International Airport.
The hotel, with its magnificent Old World design, will provides the highest quality accommodation to the growing numbers of travellers visiting Qatar. The hotel’s interior is inspired by local architecture and blends Arabian design with contemporary materials.
Leisure Facilities
Grand Hyatt Doha offers top-quality dining options at its four signature restaurants: The Grill, Isaan, Rocca and Biscotti, each offering a unique blend of international cooking styles and flavours.
Guests can stroll along the 400 m pristine white sand beach or enjoy adventurous water sport activities. They can also relax in the three outdoor pools or exercise in the 25m indoor lap pool.
For the ultimate in relaxation, the day spa, set in an elegant garden landscape with indoor tranquility pools, allows for the total rejuvenation and indulgence. Hyatt Pure signature treatments will take place in luxurious suites located in separate sections for ladies, gentlemen and couples.
Guests of the hotel can also visit the recently launched and globally-acclaimed Museum of Islamic Art.
Business Facilities
The hotel’s 2,200 sq m of function space and its 11 meeting rooms of varying sizes, provide ideal conference facilities. In addition, the hotel boasts of a 1,500 sq m pillarless ballroom that can be divided into three soundproof sections and a substantial pre-function area. To cater to business travellers’ needs, the hotel features chilled underground parking, wireless LAN connectivity in all public areas, meeting and function rooms and state-of-the-art audio visual equipment.
Wedding Facilities
The Grand Hyatt Doha summer wedding packages include a choice of either buffet or family style menus created by the hotel’s masterful catering team, a beautifully designed wedding cake and the use of the hotel’s ballroom. As part of the package, the newlyweds will also have access to the exquisitely designed bridal suite. The summer wedding package is available for weddings held between 15 June and 31 July for parties with a minimum of 350 guests.
