Experienced, overwhelmingly self-motivated, enthusiastic and a person who thrives on challenges, Mrs. Tina Mahat will be looking after the Sales and Marketing division for Grand Hyatt Amman, with effect from 1st January, 2008.
Mrs. Mahat earned her degree in Sales and Marketing from the Singapore International Hotel and Tourism College, after which she continued to demonstrate her determined ambition by starting her career in the hotel industry in 1996 as a Reservation Manager for the Holiday Inn Worldwide Reservations Office. Moving forward and aiming higher, Mrs. Mahat then worked as a Sales Manager in different hotels, from Sedona Hotels International and Hilton Hotel Singapore to the Holiday Inn Batam, Sales Office in Singapore.
In August 2001, Mrs. Mahat started her career with Hyatt when she joined Grand Hyatt Singapore as Sales Manager. In May 2002, she was promoted to Associate Director of Sales. Proving her outstanding skills and innovative spirit, Mrs. Mahat became the hotel’s Director of Sales by December 1st 2004.
