Go-Green.ae has announced the second 'Go Green Networking Event' for 'Green Industry' professionals, CSR executives, environmentalists and eco-enthusiasts. The event will be held on 26th December 2010 from 7-9 pm at the Fairmont Dubai.
According to Sharad Agarwal, CEO of Go-Green.ae, "We are pleased to invite members from the government and private sector organisations to join the networking event. The primary objective of this event is to highlight the importance of 'Going Green' and spreading this critical message to our local communities. We sometimes live on this planet as if we have another one to go to!
The event will feature the concept of 'Elevator Pitches' that proved to be a favorite with aspiring entrepreneurs during the inaugural event. The first Go Green Networking event held earlier in October was attended by over 100 residents of Dubai.
Go-Green.ae has recently launched the 'Go Green Members Program' for Companies and NGOs, Agencies, Organisations and Educational institutions interested in communicating their corporate citizenship, sustainability and socially responsible initiatives through the 'Go Green' Portal.
The Go Green Ambassadors Program has around 700 registered volunteers drawn from 80 countries who believe in the importance of captive communities to adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle.
Go-Green.ae presented a paper entitled 'Go Green to Save the Planet' at the Celebration of Entrepreneurship event held in Dubai last month.
Go-Green.ae is updated 24/7 with information relating to news, events, technologies, videos, web resources and success stories in the field of energy conservation, sustainability and environmental protection. The online newsletter is distributed daily to over 15,000 'opt-in subscribers'.
