Globitel launches the Mobile Industry Forum in the Dead Sea

 

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Bassem Roussan, Globitel, the leading provider of Jordanian and regional industries with the latest mobile telecommunications services and solutions, launched today the activities of the Middle and North Africa Mobile Industry Forum.

The two-day forum opened with welcome notes by the senior Globitel staff, who explained that the objective of the forum was to gather the largest possible number of decision makers from the world of mobile manufacturing so that fruitful experiences can be shared and discussed, and to come out, through a series of interactive and specialized discussions covering a large number of hot topics in the industry, with a clear vision and new strategies for the furthering and development of the mobile telecommunications industry. 

The forum is attended by more than 60 participants who came to take part in the proceedings and share their experiences with elite specialists in the field. The purpose of this interaction is to formulate a clearly-defined strategy for value-added services and mobile telecommunications products.

On the occasion, Globitel's Executive Director said: "Initially, I would like to extend my gratitude to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mr. Bassem Roussan for his interest and his presence. It is really a great pleasure for us today as we see this great participation by all those interested and by mobile service providers in both regions. It is a testament to their great trust in us as a global corporation that is completely aware of the importance of creating new solutions and innovations in the field of mobile telecommunications and value-added services. It also indicates their real interest in creating defined principles and new services that further this industry and satisfy client demands."

The forum, which is sponsored by Dialogic, the global computer systems corporation, and Taqarob, entails a series of ten discussions revolving around various specialized topics, from case studies of a number of mobile service providers to offers from different companies in the industry and the different ways in which these can be utilized to better the industry as a whole. The forum will also include discussions on media manufacturing and the industry.

Globitel will be officially releasing the results of this forum and the solutions that were reached in the final sessions of the forum.
