Globitel Concludes the Activities of the Mobile Industry Forum

 

Globitel, the leading provider of mobile telecommunications services and solutions, has announced the conclusion of the forum the company had recently organized under the title of "Globitel Mobile Industry Forum."

The forum was held at the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort and Spa in the Dead Sea on May 28th and took place over a period of two consecutive days. The event enjoyed great attendance by mobile service providers and decision makers in the industry from the Middle East and Africa, reaffirming the importance of this forum to discuss the various issues relating to the mobile phone industry and value-added services.

Attendants were able to participate in a number of discussions that focused on dialogue and experience sharing and knowledge to come with new concepts that might carry the mobile industry to new heights.  There were three main tracks in which the attendees could participate; Mobile Advertising, Mobile Payment and Roaming.

Commenting on the results of this forum, "First, we would like to express our utmost gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology for his patronage of the event. We would also like to thank all the participants for attending the forum and who contributed greatly to the achievement of its objectives. As for the results, all participants came to agree through numerous sessions on various recommendations that aim to transport mobile users to an entirely new level of new services and that aim to increase the uses of mobile phones in daily life." 

The forum was organized by Globitel with the participation of Dialogic, the global computer systems corporation, and Takarub. The forum consisted of ten dialogue sessions varying between case studies and dynamic lectures on mobile technological services and their utilization for adding new value-added services, in addition to debates on media production for mobile phones.
