GLOBAL INVESTMENT HOUSE GOES PUBLIC OVER DIAMOND SPONSORSHIP FOR IPO CONFERENCE

Global Investment House, one of the leading investment companies in the Middle East has committed to become the Diamond sponsor, of the region’s first IPO Summit, according to event organisers International Institute for Research (IIR). The ground-breaking conference will take place at the iconic Al Murooj Rotana Hotel in the heart of Dubai’s burgeoning financial centre, on 25-28 February 2006.

Their support clearly shows the importance they attach to the Middle East’s first IPO Summit”.

Other high profile sponsorship deals have also been struck with Shuaa Capital and Gulf Capital, who are both Gold sponsors and Gulf International Bank, Atlas Investment Group, Dubai Bank and Zawya, who share the Silver sponsor status. In addition, Jordinvest has been appointed Associate sponsor for the IPO Summit.

The speaker faculty for the two-day summit is just as impressive with forty international and regional experts from USA, UK, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE.

The event aims to scrutinise the recent surge of IPOs in the UAE, Saudia Arabia and the rest of the region and debate the regulatory changes, underlying trends and other critical factors amongst investment experts, regulators and market leaders. High on the agenda will be, underpinning oversubscriptions, under-pricing, cross-border investment policies and reporting standards.

In a number of highly practical sessions, executives responsible for listing their companies will share their reasons for launching, the complete IPO process, the prospectus, IPO marketing and roles of lead managers and partners.
