Already hailed as the Middle East’s leading beach resort, Le Meridien Al Aqah has announced two unique additions to its portfolio of leisure activities, Crazy Golf and Glass-Bottom Boat tours.
The hotel recently opened the first 9-hole miniature golf course on the East Coast, reputed to be the most challenging course in the region, with its testing arrangement of obstacles, ramps and bunkers.
“Crazy golf is a popular pastime in many areas of the world, especially among families. With names like Round the Bend, Al Aqah Adventure, Hole Lotta Trouble and Super Loopy for the holes, the Al Aqah crazy golf course is certain to be popular with our guests who come from all over the world and are continually looking for unique ways to take advantage of the fabulous weather we enjoy on the East Coast,” said Patrick Antaki, general manager, Le Meridien Al Aqah.
The crazy golf course is open everyday at the beach area of Le Meridien Al Aqah.
A new 30-foot air-conditioned glass-bottom boat with a 14-person capacity, offering impressive views of the spectacular underwater life through its glass bottom, has also joined the Al Aqah fleet.
45-minute tours are available at Le Meridien Al Aqah, 4 times a day, 7 days a week, for AED 175 per adult and AED 100 for children under the age of 12. The Glass Bottom Boat tour, which requires a minimum of 5 people to operate, is suitable for all ages and abilities.
“The East Coast is famous for its crystal clear water, colorful coral, exotic tropical fish and hundreds of varieties of marine life. This large, comfortable vessel is designed to allow the whole family to enjoy a fascinating and educational undersea adventure, without getting wet, making it an easy and affordable alternative for guests with young children,” added Antaki.
In addition to these new offerings, guests at Le Meridien Al Aqah can enjoy a host of spectacular leisure activities at the hotel including snorkeling, diving, fishing and a variety of other indoor and outdoor sports. Not to mention, the fabulous treatment menu at Spa Al Aqah and four-wheel drive excursions to experience the beauty of the surrounding area.
“We take into account the fact that our guests have a diversity of tastes and interests, and we make sure that we have something to cater for each and everyone. It is this attention to detail and awareness of the guest’s wants and needs that has ensured our continued success,” Antaki concluded.
