A loving gesture from a caring husband saw a Lebanese national win a brand new Pathfinder in the Nissan Grand Raffle at Global Village on Jan 30. Remon, a UAE resident for 27 years, bought a gift for his wife from Wafi and was delighted to know that he had won in the raffle.
“It is an amazing feeling. Even if you win something small you feel good and I have won a Nissan Pathfinder, that is a big haul”, said Remon. “I remember the first DSF in 1996 and the ones following that when we would delay our shopping to coincide with DSF!” he added.
A shopping-linked promotion and sponsored by the AW Rostamani Group, a key sponsor of DSF 2010, shoppers who make a purchase at participating shopping malls and from Eppco and Enoc fuel stations will be eligible to participate in the raffle. A shopper can effectively receive a coupon when making a purchase as low as AED 20.
As per the raffle, one lucky winner will take home the keys to a brand new Nissan SUV from a list of seven such models including the Patrol, Armada, Murano, Pathfinder, Xterra, Qashqai, and Xtrail. On the weekend, three lucky shoppers will have the chance to win a Nissan model each from four models – Tiida, Altima, Xtrail, and Qashqai. A total of 43 winners will drive home Nissans by the end of DSF 2010.
