For most parents, entertaining their children during the long summer holidays can be a daunting task!
With the summer weather well and truly here, leading fashion brand United Colors of Benetton is once again launching its annual Kool Kraft Competition. It encourages children to explore their artistic talents during the summer break.
Children between the ages of seven and 14 can let their imagination run wild and draw, paint, crayon or colour their most inspired outfit on a specially designed art pack for a chance to win Benetton vouchers. Kool Kraft Art Packs, which contain a selection of craft goodies as well as an art sheet for the design itself, are now available to pick up free at any Benetton store in the UAE.
"This is the fifth year United Colors of Benetton has held this competition and we are once again looking forward to seeing the young artistic talent on offer in the UAE," says Ajai Dayal, Head of Retail and Marketing for Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, of which Benetton is a member.
"It's amazing to see what the children come up with. The summer holiday is an ideal time for children to be creative and we want to encourage them to have fun with this competition. The craft materials in the art pack is just to kick start their imagination – children can use glitter, glue, pens, stickers, fabric – whatever they want to create their most colourful, artistic designs. And you never know, we may uncover the next Benetton designer!"
All completed entries can be submitted at any United Colors of Benetton store in Dubai by August 31, 2010.
The designs will be judged by a team from Benetton and the top three designs will be awarded Benetton vouchers worth AED2000, AED1250 and AED750 respectively. Every entry submitted will receive a Benetton Privilege Card, offering 20% discount on the holders next visit to the store and a free gift, while stocks last.

United Colors of Benetton stores are located in The Dubai Mall, Diera City Centre, Jumeirah Centre, Mall of the Emirates and Arabian Centre.
