The speech by Hezbollah and the escalating tension along the Israel-Lebanon border have prompted more governments to encourage their citizens to leave the country.
On Wednesday, the German Foreign Ministry called on all Germans in Lebanon to "depart the nation as swiftly as possible" in a statement on X.com.
On Wednesday, the Canadian government expressed concern over the potential escalation of hostilities in Lebanon following the killing of Saleh Al-Arouri.
The government stated that this unfortunate event "may lead to an escalation of hostilities in Lebanon" and took the opportunity to reiterate its previous call for Canadians to leave the country.
Notably, Canada has been advising its citizens to depart Lebanon since October, emphasizing the heightened risks in the region.
The situation has also prompted other nations to take similar measures, with the United States and Sweden issuing reminders to their citizens in Lebanon to evacuate.
