Gazeley, a subsidiary of Dubai-based Economic Zones World and leading provider of sustainable logistics and industrial space announced that Zufall Logistics Group, a German high-quality Forwarding and Logistics Services Company, has signed a 2-year lease extension for their existing warehouse at Fulda, Germany, which was completed in May 2009.
The built-to-suit facility is mainly used for transportation logistics, and has a capacity to store up to 340,000 car and lorry tyres in a 19,000 square metres area. Gazeley is expected deliver an additional mezzanine floor space of 1,000 square metres to the logistics service provider. The lease agreement for the 2 facilities are now valid till mid 2016.

The long-standing partnership between the two companies started in 2004, when Gazeley delivered a 10,000 square metre shed for Zufall at Erfurt, Thuringia, demonstrating its ability to deliver high-quality buildings within a tight timeframe and to an agreed cost programme. The company went on to build another 10,000 square metre development for Zufall in 2006 at Magna Park Kassel.
Gazeley has also developed two more projects for the Zufall logistics group, comprising a total of 75,000 square metres. The third, a 19,000 square metre warehouse at Fulda, Northern Hesse was completed in May 2009, while the fourth a 36,000 square metre logistics space at G. Park Kandel near Karlsruhe n the South West of Germany.
Gazeley has so far built over 60 million sq ft (5.6 million sq m) of highly efficient, carbon positive logistics and industrial spaces and distribution parks across the world.
