The UAE’s premiere integrated event services company Gearhouse LLC has entered into collaboration with Asia’s leading events company Staging Connections to bring new services and international standards in event production to the region.
The collaboration is a result of the recent acquisition of a 51% stake in Gearhouse by AAV Limited, the Australian parent company of Staging Connections.
The partnership will be known as Gearhouse Staging Connections and will see the company commanding a significant presence in the rapidly growing corporate event and entertainment market across the GCC.
Gearhouse MD, Peter McCann, said, “Through our leveraging of the extensive resource and talent base available in the Australian and Asian operations we will truly be able provide our clients with an increased level of creative input and production support for their event requirements in the region, whilst maintaining the high delivery values that have positioned us well to date”.
According to AAV’s CEO Michael Gardner, “Dubai is a key global events hub and the UAE’s strategic geographic location, impressive infrastructure, world class convention centres and hotel venues, and convenient air connections were compelling reasons for us to establish our association with Gearhouse here.”
Gearhouse Staging Connections will utilise its expertise gained over a decade of operating from Dubai to increase and strengthen the partnership’s presence in the region through further acquisitions that will make this region a major asset in the Staging Connections global network.
With growth in mind, the company is also preparing to shift its base of operations to a much larger and self financed purpose built office in Dubai Investment Park.

The new partnership will become the fifth such events hub for Staging Connections following its recent mergers in South East Asia and China.
