In the predawn hours of Thursday, Ra'ed Mohammad El-Nahhal (30-year old resident of Shati camp), was killed by unknown assailants in the Gaza Strip. El-Nahhal was a leader in Naser Salah El-Deen Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees.
PCHR's preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 01:30 on Thursday, unknown assailants fired at El-Nahhal while he was in his car in Sawi Street in Beach Camp. He was hit by several bullets in the head. El-Nahhal was taken to Shifa Hospital, when efforts to save his life failed.
