Israeli soldiers killed a 7-year-old Palestinian girl on Friday, Palestinian medical sources said. She was shot dead in Khan Yunis, they added.
This incident reported shortly after four Israeli settlers were injured, three of them seriously, in a mortar strike on the nearby settlement of "Neveh Dekalim" in the southern Gaza Strip. Hamas claimed responsibility for the mortar barrage.
Later in the day, the Israeli Army deployed forces around Khan Yunis refugee camp.
