Israeli aircraft fired missiles at a car in the Gaza Strip on Sunday afternoon. The missile strike took place in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City. At least one person was killed and six others were injured in this air strike.
The Palestinian Popular Resistance Committees umbrella group said its members had been traveling in the car, but escaped the blast. A spokesman for the group said a bystander died in the Israeli raid. IAF warplanes and drones were seen in the sky during the strike.
Earlier, Israeli forces arrested Sunday two Palestinians in the West Bank cities of Tulkarem and Jenin. WAFA reporter and witnesses said that Israeli soldiers swept into Qiffeen village, north of Tulkarem, supported by 15 military jeeps, launched a search campaign into number of houses, besieged Mohammad Aqel's house and then arrested Mujahed Khishan 15, leading him into an unknown spot.
In Jenin, security sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers broke into Selat al-Harithyia town, west of the city, besieged number of houses in the southeast of the town and arrested Hussien Jaradat, 30.
