A missile fired from an Israeli aircraft killed at least six people, including three Hamas members travelling in a car in the Gaza Strip on Monday, local Palestinian residents and medical workers said.
According to Reuters, Hamas said the car was hit as it approached a Hamas security post. Locals said ambulances sped to the scene which was near the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said its aircraft hit a car carrying "militants" who fired rockets into Israel earlier Monday.
