Gaza Strip: Five Hamas men killed by Israeli fire

Five Hamas activists were killed and three wounded early Saturday in the southern Gaza Strip in a missile strike by Israeli aircraft, Hamas confirmed. Hamas sources said the five were killed in an airstrike carried out by Israeli helicopters against guard stations in Abbassan, a village in southern Gaza Strip.

 

Mo'aweya Hassanein, chief of emergency in the Health Ministry, said that there were two brothers among the five victims, and two of the seven wound were in serious condition. The victims were identified as Muhammed Suleiman Abu Anza, 21, his brother Ziyad, 36, Ibrahim Asa's al Birim, 20,, Jihad Fawzi Qadih, 19, and Tamer Abu Jame', 21. According to DPA, Palestinian witnesses said that the Israeli helicopters fired six missiles into two border installations.
