Gaza death toll rises to 436, including 91 children

ALBAWABA - In its latest reports on the death toll in Gaza, the Palestinian Health Ministry said that at least 436 people were killed during the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip with 91 children among the casualties. 

Local media reported that the injuries varied between minor and major injuries with a total number of 2271, including 244. as a result of the Israeli warplanes’ bombing of a number of homes, residential buildings, property, and infrastructure since the start of the Israeli attacks on Saturday.

In the previous several hours, Israeli warplanes unleashed hundreds of deadly attacks on all governorates of the Gaza Strip, targeting residential towers and structures, civilian and service facilities, and mosques, killing and injuring hundreds of people, the majority of whom were women, children, and the elderly.

Israeli warplanes also targeted and destroyed several homes in the city of Deir al-Balah and Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, leading entire families to completely perish, in addition to targeting homes in Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern parts of the strip. 

Gazans took to social media to post videos of Israel using internationally banned weapons in bombarding various areas across the strip. 

At least 74,000 Gazans were forced to flee their homes and take refuge in the UNRWA schools across the strip as Israeli forces continued to heavily halt down on a number of residential buildings. 

On the other hand, the Israeli Army announced that The number of Israeli soldiers killed in clashes with Hamas has risen to 73. 

Meanwhile, Former prime minister and current leader of the opposition, Yair Lapid, has expressed willingness to join an emergency unity government as Israel has declared war with Hamas, AlJazeera reported.
