Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) recently put back the Airport road in the direction of Amman into its previous lane by cancelling the detours, and opening the road before the vehicles coming from Amman towards the Airport, as well as opening the opposing way last week (from the Airport to Amman).

City Deputy Manager for Public Works, Eng. Fawzi Mas'ad, announced that GAM temporarily closed the street leading to Marj Al Hamam from the intersection's point, in preparation for the works on the western side of Prince Hussein Ibn Abdullah II Square.

He pointed out that there are many traffic alternatives for the drivers, such as Marj Al Hamam entrance from Na'our Bridge's side, or taking a street in Al Thaheer behind Al Manaseer Petrol Station. He also called on the citizens to bear with and to appreciate GAM's efforts to implement this developmental traffic project, especially that the citizen's cooperation is conducive to the success of the project.

In the same context, Eng. Mas'ad declared that GAM, in cooperation with the Traffic Department, will cancel next week the detour passing through al Abdali Project, pointing out that GAM finalized the finishing works of the bridge, which eventually contributed to creating smoother traffic flow.
