GAM Completes the Improvement and Renovation Works of Jubeiha Entertainment Park

Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) finalized at Al Jubeiha Entertainment Park the renovation works of the interior kiosks and pathways on 3 dunnums of space area, and other works on the entrance, the parking lots, and the services street on a space area of 14 dunnums.
GAM aims from the renovations of the 53 dunnum Park visited by over 650,000 visitors a year, at providing a recreational center servicing the residents and visitors of Amman within a comfortable and suitable environment.
The Park management provided medium buses to move the pedestrians between the parking lots and the entrance during all the working hours.
The Executive Director of Engineering, Eng. Ibrahim Hashem, said that the cost of the first phase works amounted to 145,000 JOD which included establishing 15 kiosks with different spaces and designs rendering various services to the visitors, in addition to several exterior works, such as leveling the site, removing the current pavements, building new stairs, sidewalks, wooden benches, and rockery walls.  
The second phase included rehabilitating the parking lots area, the services street, and the main entrance with a total cost of 106,000 JOD that was allotted for removing some games and the warehouse on the southern east side of the lowest part of Jubeiha region, in order to create parking lots with capacity of 250 vehicles.
Eng. Hashem announced the implementation of a service street to transfer the visitors from the parking lots and the main entrance to facilitate and organize their movement.
The third phase included expanding and paving the main entrance and the sidewalks surrounding the Park.
On his part, Director of Al Jubeiha Entertainment Park, Dr. Mousa Shobaki, emphasized that the restoration works executed by GAM gained admiration and appreciation from the Park visitors, highlighting the huge attendance especially on Fridays when the number of visitors reaches to 3500.
He pointed out that small amount (1 JOD) is to be collected for the parking service in the area implemented by GAM with modern specifications.
Shobaki mentioned that the Park management maintains a strict security service at the gates which eliminated many negative behaviors and contributed to creating a safe environment for all the family members.
