A fundraising television program organized under the title "We Are All Palestinians!" was aired Tuesday on Dubai television.
The telethon, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, in cooperation with Dubai Television, aimed at collecting donations to support the Palestinian people’s cause, according to Gulf News.
The telethon was set to be broadcast for 12 ongoing hours starting at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday till 2:00 a.m. Wednesday. People can phone in their donations.
For English speakers, a one-hour program was scheduled to be aired Tuesday between 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the telethon, donation collection points are due to be established at the six branches of Emirates Co-op, Dubai City Center, Oasis Center, Wafi City and BurJuman Center.
The cash collection points were to open at BurJuman Center, from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday till the evening of April 12th. Money raised will go directly to the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment for distribution throughout Palestine. (Albawaba.com)
