Fun Oasis at Modhesh World – A Safe and Clean Environment for Energetic Activity or Quiet Relaxation
A dreamland for younger kids, the Fun Oasis at Modhesh World can keep little ones engaged for hours. Modhesh World, which is celebrating its 10th year in 2009, is hosting a comprehensive itinerary of edutainment activities. Covering 500 square metres, Fun Oasis is the biggest soft play area in the UAE.
The area has been created from high quality materials and has been tested for both strength and durability. Maintained, washed, and cleaned on a daily basis, the up-keep of the area is contracted to a specialist maintenance company ensuring the highest quality of standards. Safety is the first priority and a proactive approach to safety compliance is rigorously sustained.
The three-storey soft play structure provides adequate physical activity to children of this age group to encourage motor development and sensory stimulation. The doll houses assist with the development of fine-motor skills and the ample seating areas provide an excellent opportunity for mental relaxation. We have ensured that every element of the different soft play areas are available in the Fun Oasis at Modhesh World,” said Ahmad Ali, Manager of Modhesh World.
“This zone is designed to be safe for the kids to run, jump, climb and have fun; to exercise both their physical abilities and their creative imagination, whilst providing a relaxing environment for parents,” he added.
Colourful slides, see-saws, and merry-go-rounds give way for the more adventurous kids to satisfy their enthusiasm for fun exploits. The doll’s house and miniature animal rides are ideal for the more serene kids to spend time and its most distinctive feature is the soft-ball shooting rink in the centre of the zone, where harmless soft balls can be playfully shot around the area, creating friendly chaos. Located in the East Zone of Modhesh World it will be an ideal spot for any child betweeen the age group of 3 – 7 years.
Caroline Saad from Lebanon, whose three-and-a-half-year-old little girl Jane was excitedly grappling the colourful softballs in the Fun Oasis said “I think Jane loves this place, when she is here she is very excited and so I keep coming again and again, this is the third time this year that I have come. When I see her happy, then my efforts and value for money is made up. This is a great inititative from DSS.”
Charged at AED 25 per head for multiple entry an adult parent / guardian can accompany toddlers in the Fun Oasis.
Modhesh World is open from 10.00am to 10:00pm on weekdays and from 10:00am to 12midnight on weekends, and from 3:00pm to 12midnight on Fridays. Tickets to the venue are priced at AED 10 for adults and AED 15 for kids with numerous free games and rides.
