EFORCE MAKES ELABORATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR FRENCH DUO

The Aberol Rally Raid Team from France has commenced intense training in UAE terrain to acclimatise to the weather and conditions and put their vehicle to the test in desert terrain as they prepare for the UAE Desert Challenge that takes place from October 28th to November 2nd.  The event is being organized under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister & Vice President of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

“We are all set for our third consecutive UAE Desert Challenge, and our preparations this year are more consistent,” said pilot Rodolphe Lavoise.

The UAE Desert Challenge is the penultimate round of the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup and the FIM Cross Country Rallies World Championship attracts rally enthusiasts from around the world.

The French team comprising Rodolphe Lavoise (pilot) and Axel Berrier (co-pilot) are ardent rallying enthusiasts and have been a permanent fixture at the UAE Desert Challenge for the last couple of years.

The field for the UAE Desert Challenge is widely regarded as an exceptionally strong one and the terrain and the format tough and it is a true physical test and excellent platform for rallying enthusiasts worldwide.

“Our participation this year has benefited greatly from the support of our sponsors E-Force Batteries and we hope to justify their support through our performance this year,” remarked co-pilot Axel Berrier.

The UAE Desert Challenge continues to set the highest standards for international cross country rallying and attracts drivers and enthusiasts from around the world.

Largely covering the desert dunes, the course winds its way across the UAE for five days from the towering dunes of the remote Rub Al Khali  (the famed empty quarter) to the flat out wadi plains (dry river bed) that wind their way through the scenic Hajjar mountains.

Each event attracts hundreds of competitors from around the world in bike, car and truck classes and many of the competitors bring along an extensive retinue of mechanics, team managers, friends and families.
