French President Jacques Chirac will hold talks in Paris Monday with visiting Israeli Regional Co-operation Minister Shimon Peres, the president's office said Friday.
A spokesman said Chirac has had conversations by telephone with both Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat in the last 24 hours.
Peres will be in Paris on Sunday for the inauguration of a new garden in memory of the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated five years ago -- PARIS (AFP)
