French fine furniture from Allot Frères Workshops
Specialists in luxury cabinet making, Allot Frères Workshops will take part for the first time in the Parisian Maison & Objet (House & Object) trade show, from next September 5th to 9th. They will in particular be unveiling their latest creations.
Awarded the Prize for Living Heritage Enterprise in 2006 by the French Ministry of Economy, Employment and Finance, Allot Frères Workshops remain to this day the only cabinet makers in France to perform the eight trades that make up furniture creation. They produce faithful reproductions of works from French Master Cabinet Makers from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Allot Frères offer a range of over 600 models featuring a wide choice of lacquers, finishes, fabrics and hand-sculpted models to customise each part of the furniture: woodcarving gilded with 22-carat gold leaf, precious wood inlay, damask or silk brocade-upholstered settee, in Regency, Louis XV or Empire style. As a result of a strict adherence to traditional techniques used by upholsterers, wood carvers, and prestige furniture craftsmen, all furniture bearing the ALLOT signature is a guarantee of exceptional quality.
Situated on the 5 continents, Allot Frères bring new life to models destined to become unique and rare pieces, particularly sought after by lovers of furniture made of precious materials. Moreover, their 1,300 sq. m. showroom has been listed for many years among French museums.
Allot Frères Workshops will be exhibiting at the Maison & Objet (House & Object) trade show in Paris, from September 5th to 9th, 2008, in booth EPV, Hall “Projet”.
