France's first lady is in Beirut to attend the wedding ceremony Saturday of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri's son.
The Chiracs are close personal friends of the Hariris.
According to A Nahar, Ayman is the oldest of Hariri's three children from Nazek. He has two older sons from a previous marriage.
