Four Seasons Hotel Damascus recently appointed Sanjiv Hulugalle as its new Hotel Manager. Having held a number of diverse positions under the Four Seasons umbrella, Hulugalle is set to take the ancient capital by storm.

Having worked in no less than ten Four Seasons properties in far-flung locations including Goa, Sydney, Las Vegas and Vancouver, Hulugalle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role. He began his career with the hospitality group as a Health Club Supervisor at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, after which he moved on to positions such as Director of Recreation, Housekeeping Manager, Front Office Manager and Director of Rooms. Hulugalle arrives in Damascus from Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, Malaysia, where he spent 18 months as Resort Manager.

He is a dual citizen of Canada and Sri Lanka and holds a Bachelor of Education from the Australian College of Physical Education. The newly appointed Hotel Manager speaks English and Sinhalese. Amongst his hobbies are hiking and cooking. Although this is his first full-time position in the Middle East, Hulugalle also provided support to the pre-opening teams at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and Four Seasons Hotel Amman, Jordan.
