Late Monday night, Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinian fighters who were trying to infiltrate Israel from northern Gaza Strip near the Israeli settlement of "Nativ Ha'asara." Israel Radio reported that the soldiers opened fire, killing the two while a third man fled, apparently into the Gaza Strip.
At approximately the same time, two more Palestinian fighters made their way towards the security fence in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli soldiers opened fire and killed them.
Meanwhile, a 29-year-old Israeli settler was killed Monday night in a shooting attack near the West Bank settlement of Kedumim, near Nablus. The settler was driving in his car when gunmen in a passing vehicle opened fire, critically wounding him. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

A group believed to be affiliated with Fatah claimed responsibility for the attack, Haaretz reported.
