The mother's condition is not yet known, it added.
Meanwhile, in Hebron, Palestinian fighters wounded an Israeli settler in a similar attack. Al Jazeera said that they attacked a military jeep escorting a vehicle with settlers on board, wounding the settler.
The station’s correspondent said he was in “a very, very serious condition" and that "he is probably dead by now.”
The channel’s report added that two Arabs were also injured in the attack. They were mechanics working in nearby shops.
