Four Hamas leaders killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

ALBAWABA - Hamas mourned the death of four of its leaders in a statement released on Tuesday following the resumption of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, Al-Jazeera reported.

Hamas shared the names of four leaders killed in the latest airstrikes on the strip:

1. Issam Al-Dalis, Head of Government Work Follow-up in the Gaza Strip.

2. Hamas Counselor Ahmed Al-Hatta, undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice in the Gaza Strip.

3. Major General Mahmoud Abu Watfa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip.

4. Major General Bahjat Abu Sultan, Director General of the Internal Security Service in the Gaza Strip

The Gaza Ministry of Health revealed that the death toll from the ongoing offensive on the strip has jumped to at least 356, including children, dozens of others were also injured according to the ministry spokesperson.

Israel resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip after announcing the end of the ceasefire agreement, approved in January, the Israeli military said. "Israel will, from now on, act against Hamas with increasing military strength," Netanyahu's office added.

US President Donald Trump gave the green light to Israel to carry out the latest attacks on the Strip after Hamas refused to accept US-backed proposals to extend the truce, US media confirmed.
