Earlier today, Sheikh Yousef Salama, the former Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, lost his life in an Israeli airstrike on his residence in the al-Maghazi refugee camp located in the central Gaza Strip.
According to a report from WAFA, Israeli warplanes specifically targeted Sheikh Salama's home, resulting in his tragic death and causing injuries to several members of his family.
As the Israeli offensive on Gaza, initiated on October 7, continues, the initial count reveals more than 21,650 fatalities and around 56,000 individuals sustaining injuries.
