Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabah on Wednesday was quoted as saying that Kuwait will be the last Arab country to normalize relations with Israel. The Egyptian daily newspaper Al-Ahram added that Sheikh Mohammed said that Kuwait has recently received an invitation to open dialogue with Israel, even through a "third party," but it had refused it.
The daily added Sheikh Mohammed expressed Kuwait's firm support to the Arab stands, and that being a U.S. ally outside the NATO "does not open side doors."
