The unidentified disease started to spread in DR Congo on Nov. 10, causing flu-like symptoms; headaches, fever, breathing difficulties, coughing and anaemia, the country’s health ministry said to the BBC.
In addition, the government has sent a medical team to the Kwango Province, where the disease is most common, to probe the outbreak, Reuters revealed in its report.
Many people now fear that the new flu-like disease would become like COVID-19 or Monkeypox (Mpox) which became an outbreak in Africa months earlier.
