Six people, three of them children, were killed in floods in eastern Turkey overnight, Anatolia news agency reported Thursday.
The victims, members of two separate families, were asleep when rising waters swept away their tents in a rural area of Mus province.
They were Kurds, displaced by the civil war, who had recently returned to their villages, but were living in tents because their homes had been destroyed, the agency added. (Albawaba.com)
