With the initiative of Ahwach Council of Tourism, the First Edition of the Ahwach Festival will be held from 23 to 25 September. Le Matin reports that the program of the Festival includes stage performances, film projections, exhibitions and a conference on the “inheritance of Ahwach”. The first edition of the Festival will see the participation of 20 theatre groups from various areas of the country such as El Houz, Tinghir, Zagora, Telouat, Essaouira, Souss. Mohamed Said Lamrani, vice-president of Ahwach Council of Tourism, said that the first edition of the Festival cost about 600 thousand dirhams.
