FinMark Communications (FinMark), a specialist international financial and corporate communications consultancy with offices in Bahrain and London, today took part in the Young Arab Leaders’ (YAL) “Steps to Success Program”, with its Bahrain-based Managing Director Zahraa Taher addressing participants.
The Program, which is a six day workshop taking place in Bahrain between June 26 and July 1st 2010, is among YAL’s annual events focused on helping the next generation of Arab business leaders and entrepreneurs effectively make the transition from university into the job market.
Ms. Taher spoke to the group of more than 100 recent university graduates on strategies and tactics for successfully identifying relevant openings and career paths, communications techniques for interviews and networking, the importance and application of ethics in the work place and her own path to becoming an entrepreneur and business owner in the field of communications.
The Program encourages young graduates to assess opportunities across all industry sectors. Upon conclusion of the program it also helps participants secure internship opportunities within some of Bahrain’s leading private sector organizations including FinMark Communications, where Ms. Taher seeks to actively promote the development of the communications industry across the GCC region and the training and promotion of local talent.
