Fawry, Egypt's leading bill presentment and payment network, has announced its summer road show which will see temporary Fawry payment points setup across major vacation spots to make bill payment easier for Egyptians. The summer road show commenced on 1 July 2010 and will continue until 7 August 2010.
"While most Egyptians have gone or will be going on vacation during this sizzling summer, bills will continue to require attention and so Fawry has taken the initiative to extend its bill presentment and payment services to popular vacation spots around Egypt so that people can focus on their holiday instead of their bills," said Magda Habib, chief commercial officer at Fawry. "Fawry bill presentment and payment points will be setup during weekends at key retail outlets and breach resorts popular with Egyptian holiday makers to make to take one less worry from them, and so that they can spend more time relaxing."
The Fawry summer road show will be visiting key holiday spots along the north coast throughout July and August including Zahran Badr, Grand Café Marina, Al Nakhleel beach and Marina beaches, In Cairo and Alex, Fawry will be present in City Center Maadi and Alex, Al Ahly Club, Al Shams Club and many more locations.
With over 1,000 retail outlets onboard and comprised of medium to large grocery stores and pharmacies, Fawry is expected to increase its service reach to over 3,000 outlets by the end of 2010 and 12,000 outlets by 2012. At its launch last December, Fawry had already secured the support of 10 major banks in Egypt to offer Fawry services on their different channels. Today, 4 of these banks (National Bank of Egypt, Bank of Alexadria, Banque Misr and Banque du Caire) offer live services on their bank ATMs which currently number 2,200 ATMs. In August, Credit Agricole Egypt and Arab African International Bank will also be offering Fawry across their ATM networks, while additional banks will be following in the near future.
