Expanding the scope of operations in order to attract more customers and offering new services and technologies to maintain the highest level of customer’s satisfaction are among Fastlink’s plans for 2006. The company also seeks to continue with its rebalancing plan in line with a strategy aimed at targeting new sectors in the local market, said Fastlink CEO Mohammad Saqer on the occasion of announcing the name of the winner of the Dream Villa.
Fastlink, the first mobile operator in the Kingdom and one of MTC Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa, bases its strategy on providing a variety of services and packages to customers in order to avail them the flexibility of choosing the offer that best suits their needs. This strategy, according to Saqer is implemented with a view to spreading the mobile service among all groups of society irrespective of their living standards.
During a ceremony at Hyatt Amman Hotel, attended by a Ministry of Industry and Trade official, media representatives, company affiliates and staff, Fastlink announced the name of the winner to receive the keys for the Dream Villa Mr. Ehab Daood- 22 years old- the grand prize in a campaign launched by the company in the summer of last year. Luxury cars such as MBW, Mercedes and Hummer were also among the prizes in the campaign.
During the ceremony, Fastlink also honored its partners in the campaign, Ghargour, Abu Khader and Ole Jordan in addition to Andalusia for Tourism and Housing Projects. Andalusia is a housing project located on the airport highway.
Saqer said Fastlink has succeeded in expanding the scope of its services during the past years and was able to render the mobile phone into the leading means of communications in the Kingdom, all due to the advanced technologies and services the company has made available to subscribers, based on market studies and the needs of the various sectors. “Thus, other local and regional companies now look at Fastlink to benefit from its experience and capabilities,” added Saqer.
The prize campaign covered all Fastlink customers, including monthly, pre-paid card and corporate subscribers. Participants in the campaign entered the draw simply by sending an SMS saying “win” or “irbah” to 022000.
Fastlink, with a customer base of 2 million and the largest distribution network in the Kingdom, adopts an ambitious plan aimed at spreading the mobile service among all sectors of the Jordanian society and making it accessible to all income groups. Such strategy by Fastlink stems from the view that the mobile phone has become an integral part of people’s lives and one of the foremost communications tools that support economic growth and help create work opportunities and better incomes for many individuals.
In the previous draws, Abdul-Majed Awad, Mohammd Saleh Adwan and Jaber Adnan Zaqout won a BMW 520i, while Mohammd Musa Bani Khaled, Ra’ed Mohammd Nayef Abdullah and Jamal Mohammad Lafi won the E Class Mercedes. Also among the lucky winners were Ayat Jamal Subhi Abu Awad, Salim Ahmad Mohammad Hussein and Imad Mohammad Fayoumi, who won the ML 4x4 Mercedes. Mohannad Nasser Za’al won the Hummer H2.
