Children and parents are thronging The Palladium in Dubai Media City as Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2010 presents the theatrical production of the famous cartoon Ben 10 with the show Power of the Omnitrix. The show highlights the best of Ben 10 and Ben 10 Alien Force in an adrenaline pumping theatrical extravaganza. Skateboarding stunts, thrilling acrobatics, jaw-dropping action scenes and dazzling multimedia effects are just few of what audiences find fantastic in the show.

According to siblings Lauren Pearson, William Pearson and Matthew Pearson, “The show is pretty good. It has cool effects that make it look high-tech and amazing altogether. We’ve had such a great time watching it.”

Five-year old friends Sudashek Shriram and Abishek Sharma watched the show in excitement accompanied by Venkat Sharma who said, “The show is really exciting. These kids follow Ben 10 so closely on television that they just can’t wait to see the cartoons come to life. The production is fantastic, and the story itself teaches the children good values. It is indeed worth coming and seeing this show.”

Nadeem Busheri and Amena Baig, who went to the show with their four-year old son Ali Busheri, simply agree. They commented, “Ali is really fond of Ben 10. He knows the characters well and he was all smiles from start to finish of the show. We’re so glad that DSF brought this production to Dubai.”

Eight-year-old Ben 10 fanatic Abhishek Majumder has only one word when asked about the show, “Awesome!” “It is totally cool to see my favorite characters onstage. It’s very entertaining too,” he added.

Brother and sister Ajay (5 years) and Aiswarya (10 years) said, “Ben 10 is a great cartoon, and it is even better in a stage show. It is amazing to witness the story played by real people and not just cartoons. This show makes us experience Ben 10 for real, and that makes us happy.”

The show will go on till 26th February (no show on Feb 22) with two shows per day, at 4pm and 8pm. The show will then go on a tour across the Middle East throughout the summer of 2010.
