ALBAWABA - Police reports confirmed an explosion targeted a military patrol in northern Pakistan, which led to the killing of 4 police officers, and injured 9 in Balochistan.

The explosion comes as millions of Pakistanis head to the ballots in the latest parliamentary elections, as they prepare to elect the upcoming government.

On Thursday, voting began in Pakistan, with millions of people heading to polling stations to cast their ballots. The Pakistani government announced that mobile services would be suspended across the country during the elections, stating that the measure is intended to "maintain law and order."
