The exhibition of the well-known plastic artist Kamel Aoudjit is currently underway at El-Aurassi Hotel. Liberte Algeria reports that the primary theme of the forty paintings in Kemal Aoudjit's exhibition is nature, sea animals and plants. Aoujdit's work also evokes the traditions, culture and Algerian inheritance. "With this exhibition I want to pay homage to our ancestral culture," the painter was quoted as saying Thursday by the newspaper.
Kamel Aoudjit, has been on the artistic scene for more than 20 years and has exposed in several wilayas of the country and abroad, including Spain, France, Italy, Mali and Nigeria. The artist is also famous for his work, in which he portrays the history of Algeria in 1800s.
