British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said he is going to the meeting with secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Hassan Rowhani in Brussels Monday afternoon with confidence. "I am going to negotiations of this kind with confidence. Let us see," Straw told reporters in Brussels, according to IRNA

Rowhani is to meet the foreign ministers of Germany, France and Britain -- Joschka Fischer, Michel Barnier and Jack Straw respectively -- and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana.

Straw said they will discuss the Paris Agreement of November 5 and 6 with Iran which was endorsed by the IAEA Board of Governors. The meeting will lead to the establishment of three working groups to take forward the Paris Agreement, he noted.

After the meeting Straw said he will hold bilateral discussions with Rowhani  on UK-Iran ties. "The words of the Paris Agreement mean what they say. What is important that each side accepts both the spirit as well as the letter of the of that agreement," Straw was quoted as saying.

On his part, Fischer said Monday that so long Iran's voluntary suspension of enrichment activities continues, the EU commitments also remain valid. "Till the moment we are on the basis of the agreement (with Iran)," Fischer told reporters in Brussels. "You can see I am expressing with caution. It is totally clear that so long the voluntarily suspension of the uranium enrichment is valid, commitments made are also valid," said Fischer. "We have agreed on this basis and...on the basis of realism we must move forward step by step," he added.
